Once a Pre-Owned BMW has been found and selling price determined, Howard summarizes the two choices:Howard prepares the paperwork and ships the paperwork overnight for the Canadian resident to sign and send back with a Cashier’s Check. The Canadian resident must arrange for transportation of the vehicle from East Bay BMW to the Canadian border. There is no CA sales tax or registration paid. The Canadian resident owns the vehicle once the cashiers check clears and must register and pay any Canadian fees.
The other option is for the Canadian resident to physically take delivery of their vehicle at East Bay BMW in Pleasanton by purchasing, paying California Sales Tax, registration, etc. The vehicle can then be taken to the Canada.
