We will provide BBQ food and customers can come down and ask questions about their cars. We will cover questions about navi operation, controls and features. We will also have racks available if anyone wants an inspection.

BART and BMW DesignworksUSA team up to create the BART train of the future!


DesignworksUSA, the design consultancy and subsidiary of BMW Group, announces the start of an ambitious urban transit project in collaboration with Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). Together with BART, DesignworksUSA will create the “Fleet of the Future,” a new generation of train cars that will enter service by 2017 and deliver a premium ridership experience for its passengers.

DesignworksUSA’s scope of work for BART’s Fleet of the Future includes the train cars’ exterior, which will convey a style and shape with unique signature expression to the exterior passenger information system. Inside the new train cars, DesignworksUSA will create the main interior design features of the new train cars, and incorporate the controls in the design of the train operator’s cab.

World Debut: BMW M3 DTM race car!


Just two weeks after the official roll-out of the new racing car for the 2012 DTM season, BMW presented the BMW M3 DTM Concept Car. Dr. Klaus Draeger, Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for development, and BMW Motorsport Director Jens Marquardt unveiled the car on last Friday evening in the Double Cone building at Munich’s BMW Welt. As part of the DTM event in the Olympic Stadium, the BMW M3 DTM Concept Car was availble to motorsport fans and visitors at BMW Welt throughout the weekend.

The car offers an initial impression of what the BMW M3 DTM will look like when it lines up at the start of the 2012 season. However, the vehicle was not the only star of the evening at BMW Welt: BMW Motorsport also presented the first two drivers to be confirmed as wearing the company colours in the DTM as of next season – Andy Priaulx and Augusto Farfus.

BMW Wins the Northeast Grand Prix ALMS Race @ Lime Rock

BMW Team continued their dominance in the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) GT class by winning at the Northeast Grand Prix ALMS race at Lime Rock this past weekend. The No. 56 M3 GT took advantage of its pole position on the starting grid to bring home the 1st place finish, at the hands of drivers Joey Hand and Dirk Muller.

This win represents BMW's 3rd consequent ALMS victory (following wins at the 12 Hours of Sebring and Long Beach, the first two races of the season) and extends both BMW's overall manufacturer's lead and individual car lead.

La Ventana

San Francisco based La Ventana cruise to a Spanish flavored mix of R&B, Soul and Rock all influenced with a Top Percussion section Featuring Tony Flores(Timbales) Joey “Jam” Flores & Bobby Gaviola (Traps) and GaryD (Congas).

La Ventana features two of the Bay Area’s Finest Singers, American Idol Semi Finalist Ashley Mendez and long time Bay Area Singer Jimmy Flores (Avance) on Co-Lead Vocals and also the return of Founding LV Original Founding member Johnny De La Cruz (Lead Guitar) who wrote most of La Ventana’s first CD and original music Plus long time LV Drummer Bobby Gavilola (Sapo Original Drummer) and New Edition Joey “Jam Flores (Nu Day, RYZE Band) on Drums gives the band two of the top drummers in the Bay.
