BMW X6 will roll on the roads soon!
The 2009 BMWs X6 will be a coupe - like profile which looks dynamic as well as classic. It is expected to be longer and lower than the new X5. The premium midsize car is likely to be a high style sports sedan which will be powered to perform.
The X6 is taking a unique styling approach which appears to be the most form-over-function SUV design work seen to date. The roofline begins arching downward after the B - pillar and continues plunging right to the X6s rising waistline. The interior package will trim seating from five to four. The powertrains, chassis design and many features will be borrowed from the X5 and 5 - Series.
The X6 underpinnings explain why it will be built alongside the SUV at BMWs Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, sometime in 2008. The base engine will be BMWs new - generation 3.0 - liter inline six - cylinder. The 2009 BMW X6 will have many safety and convenience features as you can always expect from BMW. It includes comprehensive electronic driving aids, BMW’s active steering and anti - lean Active Roll Stabilization and air suspension that automatically lowers with speed to improve stability and fuel economy. BMW Ultimate Drive
Scores of people arrived for the annual BMW Ultimate Drive held by East Bay BMW in Pleasanton, CA near the Bay Area. After test driving the newest BMW 6 Series, 3 Series Coupe, the sporty X3 SAV, and the dynamic X5 SAV. For every mile driven in the test drive, BMW donated $1 to the Susan B. Komen for the Cure organization to help the fight against breast cancer.

The BMW 1 Series is coming to East Bay BMW in Pleasanton

The all-new BMW 1 Series was built from the ground up for its American Debut, made for you. And designed with one simply concept: Pure BMW. The 1 Series will be available in two versions; the 128i and the 135i. Powered by a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower inline 6 cylinder engine that generates 200 lb-ft of torque, the 128i Coupe will feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium construction-core elements of BMWs efficient dynamics. The powerful 135i Coupe features BMWs twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter inline six cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and an incredible 300 lb-ft of torque from as low as 1,400 rpm. With its direct piezo gasoline injectors, twin low mass turbochargers and air-to-air intercooling optimum performance and economy is achieved with no loss in engine response.
