The all-new 5 Series Sedan coming soon to East Bay BMW

The all-new 5 Series Sedan has been extremely well received at its US premiere at the New York International Auto Show and will arrive at East Bay BMW soon.


Styling, product substance and pricing are praised by the media and the public. Thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics the combined EPA fuel economy figures of 23 mpg for the 535i and 20 mpg for the 550i represent improvements of 11%-15% compared to the Model Year 2010 models.



We are pleased to announce the availability of the 2011 528i Sedan as of production June 2010. It is powered by the 3.0 liter naturally aspirated inline-6 engine with 240 hp and 230 lbs ft of torque. Improvements in torque and performance of 30 lbs ft and 10 hp respectively accelerate the F10 528i Sedan to 60 mph in 6.6 s, a 0.5 s improvement compared to the outgoing E60 528i Sedan. The 2011 528i Sedan shares the new technologies with the other engine variants such as an 8-speed Automatic Transmission, Brake Energy Regeneration and Electric Power Steering. Additional equipment improvements over the outgoing E60 528i include Lumbar support and a larger Moonroof.
